What is "Tilson/Tillson connections" all about.

It is a place to deposit information about our family - history, current events, planned activities, awards, memorials, and other things of interest across the family.  You tell me what you would like here and I'll do my best to get it done.

We have also established a Tilson Family Facebook Wall and Group

Recent Events:

Marlene & Bruce Tilson report, "our family reunion was a success...lots of fun [about sixty people showed up] which was pretty good considering we are small family unit."  This was at their annual family get together up in Ontario in early August.  Photos of the event.

Coming Events:

Linda Tilson has a new Facebook page for her business "Linda Tilson Art to Wear."  Visit this page to see a list of up-coming shows and art fairs where Linda will be showing her line of women's fashion.

Marlene Tilson writes - Are there any more Tilson members that are horse people? Considering that the family crest has a horse's head on the top of it....I would say it is likely that being a horse breeder , has been in the family for generations? I would love to make contact with anyone else who is a breeder/trainer , etc...thanks.

Bruce and I breed , and raise a rare breed of very gentle horses called "American Bashkir Curlies " that are also "hypo-allergenic." ..Please come to the Royal Winter Agriculture Fair [in the Fed Nor Pavilion]  this Nov 5th/15th in Toronto's exhibition grounds /to visit Bruce at our booth...He would love to meet more family members..    Marlene

Wilma Brock writes - Just thought you might know of someone who is thinking of coming to New Zealand the year after next.  If so and they are interested in machinery they might like to read about the rally we are planning in 2011.  Also at that time there is a big celebration of gold mining in the Lawrence area so we are planning our event around that as well.  Contact Wilma at - mailto:mxwltn@ispnz.co.nz
