Participants are encouraged to arrive anytime throughout the day, leaving themselves time to settle in and explore the town. The museum will be open all day for the picking up of registration packages. The reunion officially begins on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Welcoming Reception
LOCATION: Annandale National Historic Site – Program Room

Meet and greet museum volunteers and other Tillson cousins at this informal event. Wine and cheese will be served.
SATURDAY, JULY 29th
The morning has been designed to be as active or inactive as registrants would like. Please note that spaces on the offered tours will be assigned based on returned registration forms on a first come – first serve manner. Every effort will be made to ensure each participant has tickets for the time of their choice, but the registration committee reserves the right to change your request, based on availability.

National Historic Plaque unveiling
LOCATION: Annandale National Historic Site Front lawn
TIME: 2 p.m.- 5 p.m.
Formal ceremonies for the designation of Annandale House as a National Historic Site by the Government of Canada, with dignitaries, speeches and refreshments.
Dinner & Dance to celebrate National Designation
LOCATION: Tillsonburg Community Centre – Lions auditorium
TIME: 5:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
This event is also open to everyone involved in the restoration of Annandale House and to all citizens of Tillsonburg.
5:30 – 6:00: Cocktails
6:00 – 7:00: Dinner
7:00 - 7:30: Humorous informal speeches
7:30 – 12:00: Dancing & visiting
SUNDAY, JULY 30TH
On Sunday morning, participants are free to sleep in or to attend a local Church Service. A list of churches will be found in your registration package. Breakfast will be on your own.
Picnic Lunch

Workshop – "How to Research your family history in Canada" and "Tips on caring for this material"

TIME: 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. GUEST SPEAKER: Mary Gladwin, Oxford County Archivist
FAMILY RESEARCH SESSION #1 Get out your own genealogy and trade information.
LOCATION: Annandale National Historic Site - Program room
TIME: 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Supper and evening on own, hospitality room will be open at the museum from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. for anyone wishing to gather and socialize.
MONDAY, July 31st
Monday will be a day of further discovery and official recognition, as the Town Council invites all reunion participants to a luncheon that they are hosting in your honour. Breakfast will again be on your own.
Slide Show and talk - "Tillsons of Tillsonburg"

Join the Curator of Annandale National Historic Site, for a closer look at Tillsonburg’s founding family. Enjoy both a slide presentation and a personally guided tour of the museum’s exhibit.
Family Research Session # 2
LOCATION: Annandale National Historic Site
TIME: 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Town Council luncheon and reception
LOCATION: Council Chambers
TIME: 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
His worship, the Mayor of Tillsonburg and Council, invite all reunion participants to a luncheon and to sign the town guest book.
Afternoon and supper on own
Some free time to explore Tillsonburg, do a little shopping, play at the water park or take a drive down to the lake village of Port Burwell, where you’ll find North America’s second oldest lighthouse.
An evening of entertainment
LOCATION: Annandale National Historic Site - Front lawn
TIME: 7 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. GUEST PERFORMER: Ian Bell
You won’t want to miss a minute of Ian’s performance. Ian is a local musician, songwriter, storyteller, blacksmith, and curator of an area Museum (just to mention a few of his talents). He plays an amazing assortment of heritage instruments, from the mandolin and squeeze button accordion to the ever popular nose flute. You are in for a real treat this evening.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 1ST
Only the morning of this, the last day of the reunion, has been planned by the committee. The afternoon is left open for participants to prepare for departure and say their good-byes. Breakfast is on your own.
